There are moments when I just can’t quite find the words, and this is one of them. Please bear with me.
Typically, I keep my story to myself because my focus is on my clients. However, there are numerous times when my clients get curious about me too.
I’m learning that my careful, intentional vulnerability invites my clients to show up more fully. Still, talking about myself feels a bit strange 🙂
Interview with Thrive Global
Recently, Thrive Global interviewed me on my journey into psychotherapy and business in helping other therapists. Thrive, founded by Arianna Huffington, has the mission to “end the stress and burnout epidemic by offering companies and individuals sustainable, science-based solutions to enhance well-being, performance, and purpose, and create a healthier relationship with technology”.
This is hands-down, the most vulnerable interview that I’ve given. In it, I share on: diversity, immigration, identity, being a woman in business … y’know, the easy stuff 🙂 I also offer “5 Things I Wish Someone Told Me Before I Became a Therapist”.
